How deletion works

Send us a data request. We confirm your identity, check whether we must keep anything for legal reasons, and then delete or anonymise the rest. We tell you what we did. Data may stay in backups and version history for a limited period before it is overwritten.

What we cannot undo

We cannot recall content that other people have already copied, shared or saved, or messages you sent to others.

Review

We review these periods regularly and update this page when they change.
