What we own

The AssetNest name, logo, website design, code, text and the way listings are arranged belong to us or our licensors and are protected, including under the Copyright Act, 2005 (Act 690). You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.

What you own, and the licence you give us

You keep the rights in photos, videos, descriptions and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You give AssetNest a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, resize, crop, format and translate Your Content, and to show it on the Service and in our promotional material, including our social media channels, for as long as the listing is live and for a reasonable time afterwards for backups, records and content already shared. When you remove a listing we stop using it going forward.

What you promise

  • You own Your Content or have permission from the owner to use it.
  • It does not infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
  • Photos of people, number plates, ID numbers or private documents are not included without permission, and sensitive details are covered or removed.
  • It is accurate and shows the asset as it really is.

Reporting infringement

If you think content on AssetNest infringes your rights, send us a notice on WhatsApp +233 50 588 3766 with: your name and contact details; what you say is infringing, with the listing link or ID; proof that you own the work or are authorised to act for the owner; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised; and a statement that the information is accurate.

We may remove or hide the content while we review. We will tell the person who posted it and give them a chance to reply. We may end the access of people who infringe repeatedly.

Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions about the Service, we may use them without owing you anything.
